This volume, unlike the first volume which contained many charters that had been previously printed, consists of texts very few of which had been published before. The documents comprise charters of bishops and lay magnates, indulgences, the Choristers’ charters and cartularies relating to Episcopal lands and administration, and to some of the prebendal estates in Lincolnshire.
